Answers on entering, submitting work, scoring, payment, results and how your images are used.
Who can enter?
Any lash professional aged 18 or over, of any nationality. The work must be your own. Judges and staff of this edition and their immediate family may not enter.
How many photographs do I submit?
One close-up before, three close-ups after, one full-face photograph, plus a 30 to 60 second unedited video of the work. The exact list is on each category page.
Can I retouch my photographs?
Basic brightness and white balance are fine. Changing lash shape, count or spacing is not, and neither is AI generation, compositing or replacement. Doing so is a disqualification.
How is my entry scored?
Several judges score item by item against that category's published sheet, seeing only the work and an entry number. The sheet is published before registration opens and carries a version number and effective date.
What if a judge is my teacher?
Judges declare teaching, organisational, brand, family and employment relationships before they are assigned. The conflict rules run before assignment, and anything caught is reassigned with the reason recorded.
What does it cost, and can I get a refund?
Fees and refund terms are published on the category pages and the payment terms page when registration opens. Payment is online, including LINE Pay.
When are results published?
Results follow the online judging on 23 February 2027; the exact time is announced in the news section. Each award then has a permanent URL and an award ID anyone can check.
How will my images be used?
Original files are kept privately and used for judging and verification only. Anything shown publicly has its EXIF location stripped, and the scope of publication is whatever your signed image consent allows.
